...the awards just keep coming! Verizon climbed up 16 spots in the 2008 BusinessWeek's "Best Places to Launch a Career" list from the year before and maintained this spot in 2009. And when it comes to entry-level hires, we offered the most positions in 2007 out of any company in the top 100, for an amazing 18,865 entry-level hires! What’s more, we were also named in BusinessWeek’s list of the “50 Best Internships.” It's great to be recognized for achieving the goals we aspire to - namely offering limitless opportunity, total rewards, and competitive compensation in an environment of diversity and inclusion where our entire team is encouraged to do and be the very best.
