People are receiving email from me that I didn't send. If the email messages are being sent to people in your address book, you may have a virus.

Viruses spread through email attachments. If you open a message that has an infected attachment, it forwards itself to all the people in your address book. If someone opens your "message" with the virus attachment, it will be forwarded to the people in their address book and the virus will continue to spread.
How can Verizon Online help me?

Use the virus protection software available from the Verizon Internet Security Suite to help protect your computer from viruses or worms. If you are seeing symptoms of a virus, set the antivirus software to scan your entire hard drive. You can also remove viruses that may have corrupted your computer using the same virus protection software.

Note: The Verizon Internet Security Suite is available to Verizon Online customers for an additional charge.
