System Requirements

• Before finalizing your Verizon High Speed Internet order, please confirm that your computer meets the minimum system requirements for Verizon High Speed Internet service.

Installation Kit

• Once you order Verizon High Speed Internet, we'll send you a self-install kit, then let you know when your service will be ready.
• Your kit will be delivered 1 or 2 days before your service-ready date. It will include easy-to-follow instructions, a modem or router, cables and a phone cord
• If you’ll be using your High Speed Internet service on the same line as your home phone, your kit will also include filters (or “microfilters”) that plug into your phone jacks and prevent the data and voice signals from interfering with each other.

Setup

Once we've notified you that your service is ready, you can begin setting it up.

• Place filters on all phones, fax machines and other devices connected to phone jacks. (Skip this step if you don’t have home phone service).
• Connect your computer to the modem or router and an electrical outlet.
• Turn on the modem and wait for the “Internet” light to turn green.
• Open an Internet browser such as Internet Explorer or Safari. Online instructions will guide you through setting up your Verizon High Speed Internet account.
