To create a Verizon Internet Security Suite password

Using a password protects your personal information, settings, and profiles in Verizon Internet Security Suite.

Once the password is set, a Password Enabled button appears in the side menu. This lets you quickly access, disable, or modify password protection for Verizon Internet Security Suite.

IMPORTANT: Be very careful not to lose or forget your password. Write down your password, and keep it in a safe place. If you forget your new password, you will not be able to start Verizon Internet Security Suite, and Verizon Online will not be able to help you retrieve it. You will have to delete a file called freedom.dat from your hard drive, start Verizon Internet Security Suite, and then recreate all your settings. See To delete freedom.dat below.
