Configuring Anti-Virus

Once you enable Anti-Virus, you can choose how you want it to handle virus-infected files. You can set Anti-Virus to disinfect, delete, or deny access to the file.
To configure Anti-Virus
- From the left menu bar, select Anti-Virus.
- Select Preferences.
- Select one of the following:
- Attempt to disinfect the file (this setting is recommended).
- Delete the file.
- Deny access to the file. If you choose this option, Verizon Internet Security Suite tells you that it detects a virus and logs it in the Report.
- Select OK.
