What is PCNow?
printer friendly version | email this page | bookmark this page
With WebEx PCNow you can securely access your computer over the Internet using another computer or a mobile device. It can be used with any type of Internet connection, including dial-up, high speed, or FiOS. You can transfer files, print remotely, and store files online (100 MB of storage included) to access when your computer is offline.

How does it work?
When accessing your computer using a mobile device, you can use the phone authentication call-back feature to secure your connection. Using this feature, the WebEx server will call your phone number when you attempt to connect to your remote computer. When you answer the call, you must enter a secure passcode before you can connect to the computer.

Once connected, you can run any application on your remote computer, check your email, and open any files and folders stored locally on your computer or on a network drive connected to your computer. You can even invite a guest to share or control your computer while you are both connected to your remote computer. Through a variety of security features such as a 128-bit SSL encryption, you can feel confident that the connection to your remote computer is secure.
