Updating your Verizon password in Outlook® 98/2000 If you have updated the password of your Verizon primary account or sub-account, you must update Outlook® with the new password.

Start Outlook.
From the Tools menu, select Accounts.
From the Mail Account list, select your Verizon Mail account and click Properties.
Select the Servers tab and in the Password field enter your new/updated password.
Click OK.
