What is Verizon Online doing to prevent spam? How can Verizon Online help me with spam?

Use Spam Detector to help prevent spam. Spam Detector filters spam before it reaches your Inbox. It is provided at no additional cost by Verizon Online and is automatically enabled when you set up your account during installation. It begins filtering spam as soon as it is installed.

Report spam that reaches your Inbox. If you are using a spam-filtering tool and still receive spam email, please forward the entire message, with full headers displayed, to spamdetector.notcaught@verizon.net

Verizon Online has a zero-tolerance policy for spamming from the Verizon.net domain and is working to reduce unsolicited email messages. However, the Internet is not a secure environment; spammers can obtain your email address when you share it over the Internet or through other electronic means.
