What if I need to store email messages longer than 90 days? As detailed in the Verizon Email Policy, unread email is deleted from your inbox after 90 calendar days. By installing and using email software like Outlook Express on your home computer, you can download these email messages to your computer and store them for as long as you need them.

Note: All email is retained indefinitely as long as you do not exceed the maximum storage quota for your mailbox.
