What happens if non-spam messages reach my Spam Detector folder? Our filters are written against specific spam. Occasionally, a legitimate message will be filtered and deleted, unless you have spam messages saved to your Spam Detector folder (Options/Rules tab in email).

To move messages to your @verizon.net inbox or other folder:
  1. Open the message.
  2. From the Move to Folder drop-down menu, choose the folder where you want to save the message.
Also, if you find a message in your Spam Detector folder that you would prefer not get filtered, notify us at spamdetector.update@verizon.net. Verizon Online will review the message to determine if it should not be included in the Spam Detector filter rules.
