Why don't I hear any background music for the site? The site's link to the music is probably broken. The music is stored in a separate file, and the music file may not be where the browser has been told to look.

The Internet or the server may be slow, and music files are large, so the music may take longer than usual to download. Wait a few more minutes.

You may need a third-party browser extension (for Internet Explorer) or helper application (for Netscape Navigator) to hear the music. Some sites use different music formats that a browser needs help to read.

Your browser may be set up to not play background music. Some users prefer this method of browsing because it's faster. To hear music in Internet Explorer, Tools/Internet options/Advanced tab/Multimedia section/Play sounds in Web pages must be checked.
