Steps to connect additional computers to an established D-Link wireless network

Because you don't have a wireless network adapter installed, you must confirm you have the required Windows networking components and install a wireless network adapter before you can connect to your network.

Adding computers to your D-Link wireless home network requires three steps:

  1. Configure Windows. Ensure you have the required networking components installed by configuring Windows for home networking.

  2. Install network adapter. Install a notebook or USB wireless network adapter for each computer you are connecting to your home network.

  3. Test your Internet connections. Confirm that your computer is connected to your home network by verifying that you can access the Internet.
