You must have at least one computer connected to your router and configured on your wireless home network before you can connect additional computers. If you haven't created a home network with at least one computer able to access the Internet, refer to the instructions for creating an Actiontec FiOS wireless home network.

Adding computers to your Actiontec FiOS wireless home network requires three steps:

1. Configure Windows. Ensure you have the required networking components installed by configuring Windows for networking.
   
   
2. Install network adapters. Install a notebook or USB wireless network adapter for each computer you are connecting to your network.
   
   
3. Test your Internet connections. Confirm that your computer is connected to your network by verifying that you can access the Internet.
