Installing microfilters You need to install microfilters on all phone devices using the phone line that supplies your Verizon Internet signal.

To install a filter into a standard telephone:
  1. Disconnect the phone (or other device) cord from the wall jack.

  2. Insert the phone cord into the filter.

  3. Insert the filter into the wall jack.

  4. Repeat Steps 1 through 3 for each device needing a filter.

Remember:

  • Do not install a filter on your router


  • Do not install filters on empty phone jacks
