Updating your Verizon 9100VM network security settings You may want to update your security settings to increase the level of security to 128-bit encryption if you have sensitive data on your network. You may also want to change the security settings periodically to make it more difficult for hackers to access your network.

To update your Verizon 9100VM network security settings:

Open an Internet browser like Internet Explorer and enter http://192.168.1.1 in the Address field.
