Required equipment for a Verizon 9100EM wired home network
  1. Verizon 9100EM router and its power adapter.

    • The Verizon router and power adapter should be installed from your original FiOS installation.


    • Note: Use only the power adapter provided by your Verizon 9100EM router.

  2. An RJ-45 Ethernet cable to connect each computer to the router.


  3. An RJ-45 Ethernet cable to connect the router to the FiOS wall connection.


  4. A Network Interface Card (NIC) for each desktop or laptop computer connected to the network.

    • Note: Many new computers have built-in NICs. You can use Windows Device Manager to check your computer to see if it has a NIC installed.
