Required equipment for a wired home network with a FiOS connection and Verizon MI424WR router

Verizon MI424WR router and its 5V 3A DC power adapter.

The Verizon router and power adapter should already be installed from your original FiOS installation.

Note: Use only the power adapter provided with your Verizon MI424WR router.

An Ethernet cable to connect each computer to the network.

An Ethernet cable to connect the router to the FiOS wall connection.

A Network Interface Card (NIC) for each desktop and laptop computer linked to the network.

Note: Many new computers have built-in network interface cards. Be sure to check your computer to see if it already has a NIC installed.
