How to use Media Manager for Macintosh

To use Media Manager for Macintosh you need to have your Macintosh computer connected to your FiOS Internet home network.

Displaying or playing your media files on your FiOS TV

To display or play your media files from your FiOS-connected TV, you must share the media files on your Macintosh computer with your FiOS TV.

  1. Open Media Manager and make sure the Media Manager Sharing checkbox is checked. If the box is unchecked, no media is shared.

  2. If you have more than one computer sharing media to your FiOS TV, you'll want to uniquely identify the computer in the Computer Name field. Click the Edit button to change the computer name and click Apply.

    Note:
The computer name is limited to 15 characters, including spaces. Certain special characters cannot be used as part of the name.

  3. Select the media you want to share. Media types currently supported include various file types used for music and photos.
