Programming your Philips RC-144 remote to turn devices on or off one at a time

In some cases, you may need or want to be able to turn devices connected to your FiOS TV setup on or off one at a time. Follow the procedure below to program your Philips remote to enable this option:
- Press and hold the STB button.
- While holding down the STB button, press OK.
- Release both buttons.
The device buttons (DVD, AUX, TV, and STB) blink twice.
- Press 977.
The STB button blinks twice.
- Press OK.
The STB button blinks three times to indicate you've successfully programmed your remote to turn devices on and off one at a time.
Once you've completed this procedure, to turn on or off both the TV and the STB you'll need to: - Point the remote toward the TV and STB and press TV, then press Power.
- Press STB, then press Power.
Your TV and STB will power on or off accordingly.
