How do I enable or disable Spam Detector? To enable or disable Spam Detector, follow the directions below. The choices you make will only affect the mailbox associated with the email address you enter; if you have more than one mailbox, each one will need to be entered individually.

If you disable Spam Detector, spam messages are delivered to your Inbox.

To enable or disable Spam Detector

Go to the Spam Detector tool.
Turn Spam Detector on or off by selecting the ON or OFF button.
Click Submit to save changes.

Note: If you signed up for Verizon Online service after July 13, 2001, your account was automatically set up with Spam Detector.
