Highlight the message or messages you would like to delete from your inbox. To highlight more than one message at a time, press and hold the Ctrl (control) button on your keyboard and click to highlight all the messages you would like to delete from your inbox at once. Next, press the Delete button on your keyboard or click the Trash icon from the toolbar.

To delete messages before you read them, close the Preview Pane. Highlight one or more messages you would like to delete and select the Delete button on your keyboard or click the Trash icon from the toolbar.
