To compose a message, do the following:

• From the toolbar, select New
• A NEW MESSAGE window will appear
• In the To: field enter email addresses for those whom you wish to contact, enter a subject heading in the Subject: field (if you wish), then compose your email
• When you are finished, select Send  

From the NEW MESSAGE window you can also save your message as a draft, add rich text, attachments, and spell check.
