Retrieving email messages with Netscape® Messenger 7 on the Mac®

Start Netscape® Messenger.
From the Edit menu, choose Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings. The Mail preview pane opens.
From the Mail toolbar, click Get Msgs.

OR

From the File menu, select Get New Messages.

Netscape® retrieves your new messages. To get messages for all your email addresses:

Open Netscape Messenger.
From the Edit menu, choose Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings. The Mail preview pane opens.
From the Mail toolbar, select Get Messages, then click the Down arrow.
Select Get All New Messages. Netscape retrieves new messages for all your email addresses.

To get messages for a specific email address:

Open Netscape Messenger.
From the Edit menu, choose Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings. The Mail preview pane opens.
From the Mail toolbar, select Get Messages, then click the Down arrow.
Select the email address for which you want to retrieve mail. Netscape retrieves new messages for the email address.

Note: The first time you retrieve messages for an account, Mail & Newsgroups prompts you for your password. You can set the Password Manager to store your password.
