If messages sent to you are bouncing back to the sender with a message stating "the user(s) account is temporarily over quota," you may have run out of email storage space.

If you read your email using Outlook Express, follow the steps below to make sure your software does NOT leave a copy of each message on the server indefinitely.
- Start Outlook Express.
- From the Tools menu, select Accounts.
- Select your Verizon Online email account, and then click Properties.
- Select the Advanced tab. Make sure that Leave a copy of messages on server is not checked.
Note: This process is similar for Outlook 98, 2000, and 2002.
