I can't send or receive email
  1. Double check the email address to make sure that you have typed it correctly.

  2. If you are using email software with your Verizon.net email account (as opposed to Webmail), try using Service Checkup to automatically fix your issue.

  3. When you know you have an active Internet connection, check your email software setup. The outgoing (SMTP) server should be set to outgoing.verizon.net. If this server address is correct, verify that your @verizon.net address is configured as your From address.

  4. The incoming POP3 server should be set to incoming.verizon.net.

  5. Verify that your user name and password are entered correctly in your email software.


  6. Note: Verizon utilizes Spam Blocking technology to filter your email from messages that are considered a security threat. Learn more about Verizon practices relative to the filtering of email sent to Verizon.net email customers.
