Configuring Anti-Virus Once you enable Anti-Virus, you can choose how you want it to handle virus-infected files. You can set Anti-Virus to disinfect, delete, or deny access to the file.

To configure Anti-Virus
  1. From the left menu bar, select Anti-Virus.
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. Select one of the following:
    • Attempt to disinfect the file (this setting is recommended).
    • Delete the file.
    • Deny access to the file. If you choose this option, Verizon Internet Security Suite tells you that it detects a virus and logs it in the Report.
  4. Select OK.
