FiOS Internet Solution Center

I used to send email to all my friends, but it all gets returned now. Why? Were you and your friends all on the same Internet service? Maybe one of you took a chance on a local service provider, and the rest of the group jumped in. However it happened, you were all in the same domain.

When you were in the same domain, you didn't need the @ symbol or anything to the right of it when sending emails. Since all the emails were inside the same system, all you needed to do was type your friend's user name.

Now that you're part of the larger Internet world, try adding "@your-old-domain.com" (substitute the real name) to your email addresses. The domain name gets your message to the right email server among the millions that are out there.
