I'm getting a 404 Error. Am I still connected to the Internet? Maybe. If you get a Web page that says "404 error," "page not found," or something other than the page you were expecting, either the page doesn't exist any more or you are not connected to the Web.

Sometimes there is a network icon on the desktop that tells you the connection is still working. Or you can try to open a page from a large Internet presence. Larger companies work hard to keep their pages on the Internet.

If you cannot find the Internet connection icon and you cannot open another Web page, you are probably disconnected.
