Steps to create a Verizon One wired home network

 Before you begin setting up your wireless home network, be sure that you have completed each item on the checklist below.

    Figure depicting a checkbox Confirm you have required hardware and accessories:

          • Verizon One device.


          • Power adapter for the Verizon One device.


          • DSL cable to connect the Verizon One device to the DSL wall connection.


          • Ethernet cable to connect each computer to the network.


          • Network Interface Card (NIC) for each desktop and laptop computer linked to the network.


            • Note: Many new laptops have built-in network cards. Be sure to check your laptop to see if it already has a network card.
