Steps to add a computer to a Verizon One wired home network

You must have at least one computer connected to your home network and be able to access the Internet before you can connect additional computers. If you haven't created a home network, refer to the instructions for Installing a wired home network.

Adding computers to your Verizon One wired home network requires five steps:

  1. Test for NIC installation. Verify that the computer you are adding has a Network Interface Card (NIC) installed.

  2. Connect computer to Verizon One. Use an Ethernet cable to connect the computer to your Verizon One device.

  3. Verify NIC Configuration. Verify the properties of your Network Interface Card connection in Windows.

  4. Identify computer on Network. Use the Network Setup Wizard to identify the computer on your network.

  5. Test Connections. Confirm that your computer can now access the Internet.
