System requirements for an Actiontec GT704WG wireless home network Your computer must meet the following minimum system requirements:

Hardware: Wireless network adapter, available USB port, or Network Interface Card (NIC) for each computer you are connecting to the home network

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 98SE*, Me*, 2000 or XP, Mac OS 9 and higher

Internet browser: Internet Explorer 4.0 or above or Netscape 4.0 or above

Windows components: TCP/IP network protocol installed

Verizon no longer supports Windows 98, Windows 98 Second Edition (SE) and Windows Me (Millennium Edition) with Verizon Internet Service. On July 11, 2006, Microsoft discontinued support for these operating systems, and you will no longer be able to receive support or security updates from Microsoft. To ensure optimal performance, we recommend that you upgrade to a supported operating system such as Windows XP or Vista.
