Adding a computer to a VersaLink 7500 network in Windows Vista using a ZyXEL G-220 adapter Because your computer doesn't have a wireless network adapter installed, the first step is to install the adapter. The wireless adapter is used to receive and transmit the radio waves used to send and receive data over your VersaLink 7500 wireless home network.

You can download and use Verizon In-Home Agent to automatically configure your computer for wireless access. It can also help you transfer those settings to any computer in your home.

If you prefer not to use In-Home Agent, manually adding your computer to the wireless network requires 5 steps in Windows Vista.

  1. Install and configure a wireless network adapter
  2. Connect your computer to the wireless network
  3. Test your connection.
