The wizard will open your VersaLink 7500 gateway configuration utility so you can enter two critical pieces of information, and then it will do the rest. The first critical piece of information is a name for your network. This is called your network's SSID (Service Set Identifier) and can be any combination of numbers and letters that you choose, as long as it doesn't exceed 32 characaters. All devices connected to your network must use the same SSID. The second piece of critical information is a WEP key. The WEP key helps to keep your network data secure by encrypting the data before it is sent over the radio waves between computers on your network. You must enter the same WEP key for all devices connected to your network. To configure your wirlesss network: Click Start in the left Taskbar. Select Control Panel.
