Re-installing Verizon Online with a Westell VersaLink gateway
  1. Plug the small, round end of the power supply into the power jack in the back of the DSL gateway. [Show me the power jack]


  2. Plug the power supply into an electrical outlet.


  3. Connect one end of the phone cord to the Line jack on the back of the Westell gateway. [Show me the phone line jack]


  4. Connect the other end of the phone cord directly into a phone jack or the 2-for-1 adapter. Do not connect the DSL gateway to a filter.


  5. Plug the Ethernet cable into one of the Ethernet jacks on the back of the VersaLink DSL gateway. [Show me the Ethernet jacks]


  6. Plug the other end of the Ethernet cable into the Ethernet jack in your computer.

  7. Turn the power switch on the back of the DSL gateway to the "on" position (off = 0 and on = I). [Show me the power switch]


  8. Wait for the Power, DSL, and Ethernet link lights on the front panel of the VersaLink gateway to turn steady green. This will take a few moments. [Show me the modem lights]
