How to Use Do Not Disturb Note This service is no longer available to new customers. If you currently subscribe to this service, you will continue to receive the service, but you will not be permitted to re-subscribe to it if you remove it or transfer it to another customer at your current location or to a new location. Before you use Do Not Disturb, you must first set up the list of numbers you want to block. You can change your Do Not Disturb list at any time. Programming Do Not Disturb the first timeProgramming, activating, and making changes to your Do Not Disturb service
  1. Lift the receiver of the phone that has Do Not Disturb service and listen for the dial tone.


  2. Dial Verizon Advanced Services at 800-527-7070.


  3. Select Do Not Disturb Service.
    You will reach a special set-up message designed for new Do Not Disturb customers.


  4. Enter the last four digits of your phone number as your temporary PIN.


  5. Follow the recorded instructions to change your temporary PIN to a new, permanent four-digit PIN.
Making changes to your Do Not Disturb service

  1. Lift the receiver of any touch tone phone and listen for the dial tone.


  2. Dial Verizon Advanced Services at 800-527-7070.


  3. Enter your 10-digit phone number.


  4. Enter your Do Not Disturb PIN.


  5. Listen to the recorded instructions.


  6. Select the appropriate menu item for the change you want to make.
  1. Lift your phone's and listen for a dial tone.


  2. Press *64.
    Dial 1164 on rotary phones.


  3. Listen to the recorded instructions.


  4. Select the appropriate menu items for setting up or reviewing your priority call list or for turning Do Not Disturb on or off.
