OnePoint Voice Mail - Reviewing Your Messages
Note OnePoint Voice Mail instructions are the same as for Home Voice Mail except where noted.
After dialing into your mailbox, press from the Home Voice Mail Main Menu to review your messages.
Options before you review your messages
Before the system plays a message, it plays the time and date the message was received and the caller's recorded name (if a Verizon Voice Mail subscriber) or phone number (if not a subscriber). You can press to skip the caller information and immediately listen to the recorded message.
To turn off the playing of the caller's name or number at the Main Menu - Press
for Personal Options.

to enable or disable the playing of the sender's Caller ID.
- Press
to turn this feature on or off. Before the system plays a message, it plays the time and date the message was received. You will then hear the recorded message, with the new messages played first, followed by saved messages.
Options during message review
While listening to your messages, you have the following options: - Repeat - Press
to repeat the entire current message.
- Save - Press
to save the current message and play the next message in your mailbox.
- Erase - Press
to remove the current message and play the next message in your mailbox.
- Slower - Press
to play the current message at a slower rate of speed.
- Louder - Press
to play the current message at a higher volume.
- Faster - Press
to play the current message at a faster pace.
- Skip back - Press
to rewind current message by five second intervals.
- Pause - Press
to pause the current message for ten seconds.
- Skip ahead - Press
to fast-forward the current message by five second intervals.
- Softer - Press
to play the current message at a lower volume.
- Skip message - Press
to advance to the end of the message.
- Return to Main Menu - Press
to return to the Home Voice Mail Main Menu. While listening to your messages, you have the following options: - Repeat - Press
to repeat the entire current message.
- Save - Press
to save the current message and play the next message in your mailbox.
- Erase - Press
to remove the current message and play the next message in your mailbox.
- Reply - Press
to reply to the current message.
- Copy- Press
to copy the current message.
- Go to End of Message - Press
to advance to the end of the current message.
- Skip back - Press
to rewind current message by five second intervals.
- Pause - Press
to pause the current message for ten seconds.
- Skip ahead - Press
to fast-forward the current message by five second intervals.
- Skip message - Press
to advance to the end of the message.
- Help - Press
to hear recorded help.
- Return to Main Menu - Press
to return to the Home Voice Mail Main Menu. While listening to your messages, you have the following options: - Repeat - Press
to repeat the entire current message.

to save the current message and play the next message in your mailbox.
- Erase - Press
to remove the current message and play the next message in your mailbox.

to advamce the current message in five second intervals.
- Skip message - Press
to advance to the next message.
- Return to Main Menu - Press
to return to the Home Voice Mail Main Menu.

Options after message review
After you listen to your messages, you have the following options: - Repeat - Press

to save the current message and play the next message in your mailbox.

to record and send a reply to the person who sent the current message.
- Forward - Press
to forward a copy of the current message (For Deluxe and OnePoint Voice Mail only).

to repeat the time and date the message was received and the callers name or number.

to hear a description of these options.
- Skip Message - Press
to advance to the next message and save the current message as new.
- Main Menu - Press
to return to the Main Menu.
Additional information
- If you accidentally erase a message, do not hang up. Instead, listen to your messages again by pressing
. When you get to the message that was erased, press to save it.
- You can repeat a message as often as you want, but you must either erase, save, or skip each message before you can hear the next one.
- Messages are held for a maximum of 30 days. Saving a message does not extend the maximum; however, if you have Deluxe or OnePoint Voice Mail you can forward a saved message to yourself and then save it for another 30 days. (Deluxe or OnePoint Voice Mail may not be available in all areas.)
- If you exit Home Voice Mail by pressing
until you are disconnected, you will be told if new messages have arrived while you were using your mailbox.
