How to Use Priority Call Note This service is no longer available to new customers. If you currently subscribe to this service, you will continue to receive the service, but you will not be permitted to re-subscribe to it if you remove it or transfer it to another customer at your current location or to a new location. You can use these instructions to turn Priority Call on or off or to set up or change your screening list.

  1. Lift your phone's receiver and listen for the dial tone.


  2. Press *61.
    Dial 1161 on a rotary dial phone.


  3. Follow the recorded, automated instructions to turn your service on or off or to change or review your list.


  4. Hang up after you complete your changes.
Note In some areas, turn Priority Call off by pressing *81 (dial 1181 on a rotary dial phone).
