Phone line is working but the toll-free number is not If you have confirmed with your local phone service provider that no problem exists on the telephone line, contact Verizon with the following information:

• The date and time of the call
  
  
• The 10-digit number of your caller
  
  
• The recorded message, if any, your caller heard
