Account Manager Place a Call With Place a Call, you can make a call from your Account Manager. Using Place a Call Via the Calls and Messages Log

1. Go to the Account Manager.
   


2. Click the name or telephone number of the Contact that you want to call from the Calls and Messages log.
   


3. In the pop-up window, click either Call in Phone Book or Call Back in the call logs menu.
   


4. In the next pop-up window, click the telephone number you prefer.
   


5. Click the Dial button.
   


6. When your FiOS^® Digital Voice phone rings, pick up your handset and wait for the person on the other end to pick up.

Place a Call Icon You can also make a call by clicking on the Place a Call Icon located at the top menu bar in your FiOS Voice Account Manager.

To use Place a Call Icon:

1. Go to the Account Manager.
   


2. Click the Place a Call icon.
   


3. Select a recently called number by using the drop down menu or manually enter the number.
   


4. You can also manually enter a number or click Browse Phone Book to select a number.
   


5. Once the number is entered click Dial.
   


6. Your FiOS Digital Voice phone line will ring, once the call is placed.
   


7. Pick up your FiOS Digital Voice handset and wait for the person on the other end to pick up.
   


8. If the number you are attempting to dial is busy, you will hear a busy tone.

To use Place a Call via the Phone Book:

1. Go to the Account Manager.
   


2. Go to the Phone Book tab.
   


3. Browse for the name of the person you would like to call.
   


4. Click on the name and select Call from the drop down menu.
   


5. A second pop-up window will then appear asking if you want to dial that specific or you can enter a new number.
   


6. Click the Dial button.
   


7. Your FiOS Digital Voice phone line will ring, once the call is placed.
   


8. Pick up your FiOS Digital Voice handset and wait for the person on the other end to pick up.
   


9. If the number you are attempting to dial is busy, you will hear a busy tone.
