Inside Wire Maintenance Plan The Verizon Inside Wire Maintenance plan covers diagnosis and repair of the inside telephone wiring and jacks that provide your Verizon dial tone service.

With the Inside Wire Maintenance Plan, you will not pay any labor or material charges if you need a telephone technician to make repairs covered by the plan. Additional information Repair of telephone sets or other premises telephone equipment is not included. Refer to the Verizon Telephone Protection Plan for the replacement or repair of one- and two-line telephone sets and Caller ID display units.

Inside wire maintenance may not be your responsibility if you live in an apartment, dorm, condo, co-op, nursing home, or other group living facility. Contact your landlord or manager to determine responsibility. Maintenance plans and pre-existing conditions Pre-existing conditions and problems with your inside wiring or telephone jacks are not covered by Inside Wire Maintenance.
