Advising Callers of Your New Number If you are a current Verizon customer moving into or within a Verizon service area, you can move your service at your current location to your new home online.

In most states, Verizon provides a pre-recorded announcement for a minimum of one month that lets your callers know that you have moved. Additional months of Basic Referral are available for a charge in most locations.

Depending on your area, you may be presented with the Call Referral options available to you while moving your service.
