Taking Your Current Phone Number With You You may be able to take your current telephone number with you when you move within your Verizon local service area.

The online moving service prompts you with the option to keep your current telephone number if you are moving within your current Verizon service area. It is sometimes necessary to change your telephone number when moving phone service.

If you can keep your current telephone number, you will be provided with the option to retain your telephone numbers during the checkout process of your Move order.
