Try these steps first

Make sure your Internet connection is working, that your login information is correct, and that your email box has not reached its capacity.

Your router or gateway is connected to Verizon High Speed Internet and can be used to set up a wired or wireless network. All your computers and devices that are connected to the network can access the Internet through your Verizon High Speed Internet connection.

• Verify your Internet connection

The following are the settings to set up and configure your email, remote access, and FTP access for your home page address.

Username settings

• Your Verizon Online username (for example, vzn12345)
• Your Verizon Online password (for example, password1)
   

• Domain: dsl.verizon.net
• Network protocol used: TCP/IP
   

• Incoming mail server (POP3): incoming.verizon.net
• Incoming server port numbers: 995
• Outgoing mail server (SMTP): outgoing.verizon.net
• Outgoing server port numbers: 465  Why is this important?
• Your Verizon Online username
• Your Verizon Online password
• Make sure "This server requires a secure connection (SSL)" is checked.

• Network protocol used: TCP/IP
  • NOTE: Remote access is available only if you subscribe to dial-up roaming with your Verizon High Speed Internet service.
