Steps to add a computer to an established Actiontec wired network with a FiOS connection

You must have at least one computer connected to your home network and be able to access the Internet before you can connect additional computers. If you haven't created a home network, refer to the instructions for installing an Actiontec wired home network.

Adding computers to your Actiontec wired home network requires five steps:

  1. Verify that a Network Interface Card (NIC) is installed

  2. Connect the computer to the Actiontec router

  3. Verify the NIC connection properties

  4. Identify the new computer on your network

  5. Testing your Internet connection
