I forgot my Door Lock User Code

Door Lock PIN codes allow someone to unlock your Door Lock-- without your unlocking the door remotely.

If you forget or need to reset your Door Lock User Code:

    1. Login to the Home Monitoring and Control Web site.
    2. From the Home Control main menu, select Device Settings and select your Door Lock.

    3. Under User Codes, select Edit, enter a 4-digit User Code and click Save. Note: For security reasons, your User Code appears as a series of asterisks (***).

I cannot connect my Door Lock to my Home Control network

Make sure the the Gateway device is within 5 feet of your door lock, while performing the Setup WIzard steps. The Door Locks is only paired with the Gateway Device -- not the Remote Control.

Make sure the lock connectors are snapped together before you attempt to pair or connect  the door locks.

Pair the Door Lock device with the Gateway Device last, as it takes approximately 3 minutes for the Door Locks to successfully pair and appear as an active device from the Home Monitoring and Control Web site. After you pair the Door Lock, approximately 1 minute passes before a blinking green light indicates a successful pairing; approx another minute will pass before the door lock appears as an active device on the Home Monitoring and Control Web site. Note: A red blinking light indicates that pairing was not successful.

I need help unlocking my door.

To unlock the door: Enter the door PIN code, a green light on the door lock blinks for 5 seconds, allowing access to your home before the door automatically locks again.  Make sure the (4) AA-size batteries are inserted correctly in the door lock and fully charged.

If you cannot unlock your Door Lock: Make sure the door lock batteries (9V and AA batteries) are inserted correctly and fully charged.

    • Door Lever Keypad Lock: If the (4) AA batteries are low, you will see a short series of red flashes followed by a short series of green flashes before the door locks again (after 5 seconds). If the (4) AA batteries are dead, you will see a red light flash for 5 seconds and the lock will not open.

    • Deadbolt Lock: If the 9V battery is low, you will see a short series of red flashes followed by a short series of green flashes before the door locks again (after 5 seconds). If the (3) AA batteries are low, you will first see a short series of green flashes followed by a short series of amber flashes before the door locks again (after 5 seconds). If the 9v battery is dead, you will see a red  light flashing for 5 seconds and the lock will not open. If the (3) AA batteries are dead, you will first see a short series of green flashes followed by a short series of amber flashes before the door locks again (after 5 seconds).

I dont get a notification when I unlock my door.

A notification about the door being unlocked is only sent if you enable the “Door Unlocked” setting in the Notifications setup (via email or SMS). Note:  Using a key to lock/unlock your door will not cause a notification to be sent to you.
