The Smart Thermostat allows you to manage your heating and air-conditioning systems from your home computer, compatible smartphone or FiOS TV. Set up "schedules" that automatically adjust your home's temperature at certain times of day or turn off the HVAC if you are on vacation. Once you set up a schedule you can let it run to help reduce the energy consumption of your home without sacrificing comfort. 

Important: We recommend that you consult a professional HVAC service to install the Smart Thermostat.

Use the Setup Wizard to add the Smart Thermostat to your Home Network. From the top navigation, select Device Settings. From the My Devices page, select Add a Device to launch the Setup Wizard. Click the Smart Thermostat thumbnail and click the Begin Setup.

Create modes that will automatically adjust your home's temperature at certain times of day or night.

From the Home Monitoring Web Site:

From the top navigation, select Device Settings and click the Smart Thermostat thumbnail. Select the Schedule tab to create your own Custom Personal Schedule to automatically control your temperature settings.

From the physical Smart Thermostat:

1. Scroll down to Thermostat Info and press Select.
   
   

2. Review the number listed after ZHID.  If the number listed is anything other than 000, the Smart Thermostat has been successfully paired. If the number listed is “000” the Smart Thermostat has not been successfully paired and you must repeat the pairing process.
   
   
3. Press Done twice to return to the Smart Thermostat main menu. Important:  The pairing process should be completed within 30 seconds.

How can I confirm my Smart Thermostat is paired successfully? From the Home Monitoring and Control Web site, the Smart Thermostat will be listed as an "active" device on the Device Settings page.
