The Home Control FiOS TV Application provides management of your activated Home Monitoring and Control devices from your FiOS TV.

*A separate subscription to Verizon FiOS TV is required for use with the Home Control FiOS TV service.

From the Home Control

FiOS TV Application:

• Activate/run devices and modes

• Monitor and control your thermostat

• Retrieve notifications and activity logs when mode or device activity takes place.

• View live video feed from cameras

• Lock/Unlock door locks

• Monitor your home's daily energy usage for the current month.

Access the FiOS TV Home Control application

Important: You must purchase a Home Monitoring and Control Kit and set up your devices before you can access them from the FiOS TV application.

A FiOS TV subscription is required to access the Home Monitoring and Control service from the FiOS TV application.

• From the FiOS TV Main Menu, select Home Control. Your  activated Home Monitoring and Control devices, recordings, and modes appear as a "carousel" at the bottom of the screen. Use the right and left arrows on your FiOS TV remote to scroll through your features.
   
• When the Home Control dashboard is active, you can return to normal TV viewing by pressing the FiOS TV button on your remote to hide the carousel.  To show again, press the FiOS TV button and the dashboard redisplays.

Run Modes

From the carousel, use the right or left arrows to locate the Modes panel.Once you create modes, you can run/suspend or check the status of modes from FiOS TV.

*You can only create and edit modes from the Home Monitoring and Control Web site on My Verizon. Once you create a mode, it appears on your FiOS TV’s Modes list.  You can activate a mode by selecting it from the list and pressing the OK button on your FiOS TV Remote Control.

View Notifications/Activity Logs

To view notifications about certain device activity, or to view activity logs about device and mode activity, select Notifications or Activity Logs on the carousel.

Review your Energy usage 

Monitor how much energy your home is using over for the current month.

From the carousel, use the right or left arrows to locate the Energy panel. Review your home's daily energy usage for the current month.

Thermostat

Remotely monitor and change your home's temperature right from your FiOS TV

From the carousel, use the right or left arrows to locate the Thermostat panel. From there, select the thermostat settings you wish to change.

Using the Smart Thermostat

Devices

From the carousel, use the right or left arrows to locate the Devices panel.

From the Devices panel, remotely unlock/lock doors or view the status of the door/window sensors ("Open" or "Closed"). On the Devices panel, select On or Off to remotely turn a device on or off.

For example, you can:

Unlock/lock your door

Turn on/off  a lamp

Modify your thermostat's temperature settings

Note: You must install and activate your device before you can access it from your FIOS TV app.
