Access to your primary account is guarded by a password. This password is in place to protect any and all information you have stored with Verizon Online. Do not give your password out. If you need to change your password for any reason, use the Change Password Tool.

Password change tips
- Your password should be case-sensitive.
- Use a combination of at least six numbers and letters.
- Don't use your user name in any form (e.g., spelled backwards or with a number added to the beginning or end).
- Avoid using a single word, from any language, with a number added to the beginning or end.
- Your password cannot include such characters as /, #, *, or a blank space.
- Please allow up to one hour for your password change to take effect.
Note: If you have the Westell 2200 modem, the Westell 6100 modem, the Westell VersaLink 327W, or if you use Outlook Express, you must update software settings to match your new Verizon Online password. If you do not update your settings, you will not be able to connect to the Internet, or you will not be able to send and receive email using Outlook Express.
