Steps to add a computer to an established Westell VersaLink 7500 wired home network in Windows XP


The final step is to test your Internet connection on the computer you're adding to the network. This ensures that all the connections are secure, and the hardware configurations are working properly.

  1. Open your Internet browser on the computer connected to your gateway.


  2. Enter http://www.verizon.com in the Address field. The Verizon home page should display.

  4. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 above for each computer connected to your network.
