    Steps to create a Linksys wireless home network

    The final step is to test your Internet connection. This ensures that all the connections are made and the hardware configurations are working properly.

    1. Open your Internet browser on the computer connected to your router or gateway.


    2. Enter http://www.verizon.com. The Verizon home page should display.

    3. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 for each computer connected to your home network.


    4. If you want a completely wireless network, remove the Ethernet cable (yellow in the illustration below) that connects your computer to your router or gateway.
